With The Royal Wedding just days away, remember: you don’t have to be royal to feel pampered! In the spirit of all things royal, check out this post about 12 ways that you can give yourself the royal treatment this week. And who knows? These creative ways to treat yourself might just help you be a little bit more productive at the same time.

Enjoy tea time. The royals love their tea time, and so can you! Take a little break and be mindful of the aroma and the flavor of the tea. It will feel even more special.

Put out a vase of flowers. They can cost as little as $5 at the grocery store. Put them in a vase and place them somewhere where you will smell, see and enjoy them. They can instantly take you elsewhere an make you feel like royalty.

Add herbs to your meal. There is something deliciously special about adding herbs to your meal. Sprinkle some chives over your scrambled eggs. Tear some mint into your salad. Enjoy fresh basil on top of your pasta. These enhanced aromas and flavors can make you feel royal!

Take a long, relaxing bath. There are few things more luxurious than a warm, relaxing bath. Sprinkle in some essential oils to make it a special experience. You deserve it!

Volunteer in your community. That’s something that royals do well – they spend a lot of time volunteering and pushing forward good causes. Want to know a not-so-royal secret? Do something you normally wouldn’t. It’s refreshing and productive to try something that’s a little out of your comfort zone. It opens your eyes to new possibilities, and gives you a chance to see something in a different way.

Take a walk outside. Enjoy a garden, a lovely view, or simply some time gazing at a nearby tree. Being in nature can provide instant calm, especially when you reflect and notice your surroundings thoroughly.

Light a candle. Lighting a candle can create a relaxing atmosphere at home. Curl up with a warm blanket, put on some relaxing tunes, and light a candle.

Make plans for the future.
Dreaming and brainstorming open your mind to new possibilities. Treat yourself like a royal with no boundaries on your dreams – then, plan away! Looking forward to something can make you more creative and motivate you to be more productive.
